To some patients, it’s a miracle. But a hernia or stenosis operation is no miracle. On the contrary. The generally-good results are based on professional techniques, skill and first-class equipment and materials.

The PTED procedure was developed by the Dutch specialist Dr. Hoogland in the German Alpha Clinic. Menno Iprenburg learnt the PTED technique from Dr. Hoogland, and since 2004 he has performed more than 1000 of these operations.

The success rate is around 90% for hernia operations.
