Spineclinic Iprenburg is located in Hospital Veenhuizen (Drenthe).

The clinic is designated as a recognized health care institution as stated in article 17b paragraph 3 of the Health Care Charges Act and the Hospital Provision Act.

Spineclinic Iprenburg is an institution for specialized medical care falling under the WTZi act (Hospital Institution Charges Act).

On 31 May 2007, the Ministry of Health granted a license to practice to the Stichting Spine Care, a foundation with its statutory seat in Tynaarlo. (Specifically, the license was granted by the care institutions admissions unit of the CIBG Agency of the Ministry of Health, Welfare and Sport, under article 5, first paragraph of the WTZi act). The foundation Stichting Spine Care operates under the trade names Rugkliniek-Iprenburg and Spineclinic Iprenburg.
